Hi guys! Welcome to my Blog! If you're visiting from Instagram, how are you? If you're new to me and my writing journey, nice to meet you! I can't wait to start sharing even more content with all of you, but to start, I thought I'd tell you a little more about myself. Here goes nothing.

First and foremost, my name is Emma. I'm a teenage writer/author living in Canada. My favourite genre to write (and read) is fantasy and I love romantic subplots. I've been a writer for 5 years and have written 6 first drafts, making up 2 trilogies. One of the trilogies is a fantasy and the first 2 books are available to read on Wattpad (find me there at emma_the_writer_) My other trilogy is a dystopian and it revolves around assassins. I'll be sharing more about both projects on my Blog as time goes on.

I'm also, of course, an avid reader. My all time favourite book is To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee and my current book obsession is the Illuminae Files by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff. That trilogy destroyed me, and yet, it was amazing.

Aside from writing and reading, I'm very active. My favourite sport is Track and Field, followed by Cross Country Running, Basketball, and Soccer.

An interesting fact about me that I don't think most people would expect, is that I have a passion for woodworking (notice the wood panelling on my page?) I love building things and I'm going to college for construction, with hopes to make that my day job until being an author bears fruit.
