I usually put a synopsis of the book in with my reviews, but this book is a sequel and I don't want to spoil anything. If you want to know what the book is about, check out my review for the first book: Riders
This was a satisfying end to the duology and I'm so glad there was two books and not 3. Not because I didn't want more, but because it didn't need more.
For me, the best part about this series was the characters. The characters are so real and I loved each and every one of them. Their connections are concrete. I was totally immersed in their feelings and friendships.
I also liked how this book was told in 2 perspectives and I really appreciated that it didn't have flashbacks like in book 1.
Again though, while I did like the ending, I felt that like in book 1 it was a bit anticlimatic. Over too soon. But that could just be me.
All in all, I liked these books and recommend them. I'm glad I picked them up.
